This event is all about inspiring young girls to explore careers in STEM fields like engineering, computer science, mathematics, and physics. We believe in breaking down barriers and providing the support needed to spark curiosity and passion for these dynamic disciplines.

What to expect

Meet Us and Empower Young Girls in STEM

At the event, WeSTEM+ will have a booth that welcomes all young girls, parents, and anyone passionate about supporting girls in science. We’ve planned a range of fun and inspiring activities that will spark curiosity and help girls connect with the world of STEM. Here’s what’s in store:

  1. Addressing Bias and Raising Awareness
    We’ll talk about the societal biases that girls often face and help them understand how to recognize and overcome these challenges, empowering them to push past limitations and dream big.
  2. Role Models in STEM
    Get inspired by the incredible stories of local STEM professionals in Luxembourg! We’ll introduce young girls to female role models who are making waves in the world of science and technology.
  3. Promoting Feminist History and Awareness
    We’ll share important moments from history, showcasing how feminism and the fight for equal rights have shaped the STEM world. Topics will include the women who fought for equal pay, the four waves of feminism, and the forgotten women scientists whose contributions have shaped the world.

Fun Giveaways and Contests
Our booth will feature a fun Trivia contest where girls can test their knowledge about STEM and feminism. The winners will have a chance to take home exciting prizes!
